Today is my mother’s birthday. She is now 78 years young. I can only hope that I’m as active and young at heart at this woman is when I hit my 70’s. It’s sucks that we don’t live as close by to each other as we used to. But thank goodness for email and all that the Internet has brought to our family in order to keep us all in touch with each other.

I’m sad to see the summer leave us. It always goes way too fast. It’s getting colder and colder, the wind is the worst. I have sensitive ears and the wind can give me an ear ache quickly. The leaves are all ready starting to fall off the trees, sigh…..

A friend of mine showed me this video over a year ago. We got the biggest kick out of it and watched it over and over at least a dozen times. It took me a year to find it and it still makes me laugh and I wanted to share it here. These guys are too darn cute……

The numbers 9-11 still hurt, let’s never forget.

I still remember very, very clearly that day, where I was when the news came on the TV and what I was thinking of the whole mess. It’s a day all of us need to remember and keep very close to our hearts.

I had no idea how many songs the Black Eye Peas had put out that I’m just crazy about. They are so upbeat and always get me bouncing and rocking. Thanks YouTube, now let’s get it started!
