Everybody Loves Raymond and Everybody Hates Chris, two totally different TV shows, but both just crack me up each time I see an episode. They both have wacky titles, but they catch your attention by golly. I enjoy comedies, I’m always needing a good laugh and if a good TV comedy can do the trick then the more power to it!

I have never been much into working out. I have always led such a busy and hectic life at home and at work that I thought that I had been keeping in shape due to that. But I was so wrong and I need to do something about it and soon. I have an extra room in the house that I’m planning on turning into an exercise room and have turned to the Internet to find the equipment that I want and need.

First off I want to find a workout bench, then I’ll look for a decent exercise floor mat to do my floor work on. I’d like to look into taking some yoga classes, I hear that they do wonders for the body, heart and soul, sounds good to me. I’d like to find a class that is for females only. It would be a turn off to be surrounded by a bunch of gawking men, ya know?

There is a ton of equipment out there that I’ll be eyeballing the next couple of months. An exercise ball would be cool and then there are wrist and ankle weights and the list goes on and on. I’ll be stopping by at yard sales a bit more often in order to find some of the needed equipment. It has been too hot this summer to be doing much yard sales, but now I’m on a mission, so it’s all good!

I hate it when it is so hot out that you get so hot and sweaty and just feel down right funky. Then I walk into a store or resturant that is nice and cold with the air conditioner going full blast and I freeze to death. I know there is no pleasing me. I’m either too hot or too cold, arg………..

I know that we all have to abide by rules, laws and regulations, but my goodness these can make for some dry reading. With that being said let me back track to why I am stating this. I have been looking around online to see if it would be in my best interest to switch from cable to satellite. I hear good things about direct satellite tv from numerous people, I also understand that if I do sign up and tell them that one of their subscribers referred them to me that both of us can receive a nice chunk of change for the referral, and I like that offer.

At directsattv.com there is a good amount of information to read over and that is where I found the government rules for installing a dish, that I found so frustrating to read, but I understand the need to have this information available for review. I guess I just like more interesting and a lot more entertaining reading to take up my free time. Silly me.

But anyway I do believe that I’ll be signing up soon with direct tv and see how it goes for there. I’ve had cable so long and I’m due for a change and now seems to be a good time as any. My folks have had direct tv since forever and I’ve always enjoyed what they have to offer when I watch television over there. I’ll be using them as my referral and we can both walk away with some money for the effort.

I don’t like spiders or snakes. So it really sucks that my basement seems to be a great place for numerous spiders to live in. And if that wasn’t enough to creep me out, today I went down there to get a box of stuff that I needed and I found a snake skin right in the middle of the floor. Now thank goodness it was just a skin, but if there is a skin I have to wonder where is the snake that it came off of!
