Guest post of the week by Deangelo Spencer

I am sitting at my computer exhausted and trying to distract myself from work. I am suppose to be looking up Texas Electricity Providers for my boss, but I feel like I have been working non-stop and have not had a second to breathe since I came in this morning. I have decided to update my blog (that I have not updated in two months!). I usually am not the slacker on my blog or at my job that I appear to be. I think that I am just burned out. My co-worker who basically had my same job title quit three months ago. She fell in love, eloped in Vegas, and never came back to work. I of course, have gotten slammed with all of her work because the HR department is just about as slow as Christmas when it comes to the hiring process. I have basically been doing two jobs and have only been getting paid to do one. I have gotten behind in all things personal life. I miss blogging and staying in touch with friends. They have got to hire someone soon!

We have been experiencing toilet issues for many months now. I’ve about had it at this point and ready to take action myself, since my dad hasn’t been willing or able to do much about the situation. It seems that toilet repair isn’t one of his specialties, sigh……
I’m always about saving money, as well as doing my part in becoming as “green” as possible, when possible. So I thought it would be a good idea to look into the Dual Flush Toilets that I’ve been hearing about. Researching things such as these is so much easier with the Internet, I’ve only looking around just a tad and have found some good information to take and run with. A dual flush toilet can Save Water for a family of 7,  a huge 49 gallons a day, which turns out to be a savings of 18,000 gallons per year, that is like a large swimming pool full of water!
We all use a large amount of water each and every day. At some point we could certainly run out of our much needed supply. SelectAFlush is focusing on water conservation, water being our most important resource to sustain life as we know it. To see and learn more about these Dual Flush devices, you can go to dualflushkit.com and check out what they have to say and what they have to offer. With them a little flush can go a long way!

With the holiday season approaching, I’ve made a resolution for myself. After years of dealing with the crowds and standing in lines, I have made a decision. I am going to try to find every single gift that I give online this year. I have scouted out credible websites, and I’m pretty sure I can do it. You can seriously find almost everything online these days, and my gift list is no exception. I have ordered magazine subscriptions, home goods, clothes, accessories. I even ordered a subscription to satellite TV through www.direc4u.com! I didn’t have to worry about one single line, and I’m much more merry this year! Every gift just came right to my house, too- so I saved on gas! When I went to go checkout at one of the websites it gave me twenty percent off and free shipping. It’s almost like you don’t even have to pay tax! I think I’ve found a new way to shop for Christmas gifts! I suggest that everyone that is sick of manning the lines do the same thing!

My all time favorite TV shows is [scrubs]. I remember when it first aired on TV, I wasn’t impressed even one bit with their “slap stick” effects, but after watching a few of the episodes it kinda grew on me and from there I just really enjoyed it when ever I got a chance to watch it. The characters are crazy as hell, but they keep me laughing each and every time I watch it.

Now that the economy is in such turmoil a lot of people have turned to the medical profession and we are seeing a lot of folks wearing the medical scrubs, much like the scrub sets that most of the characters on [scrubs) are sporting. When I was growing up all the doctors were wearing just the regular ordinary and plain white lab coats that are becoming a thing of the past.

I’m so glad to see that these medical uniforms have come a long way. You can find all kinds of medical uniforms, scrubs and the like at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/.  Liking what you are wearing can make a difference on how your day goes and we want our medical folks in as good of a mood as we can get them in. Right?

Haven’t been to a trade show in many, many years. I used to try and attend several of them a year but I just haven’t had the opportunity as of late. A few days back a good lady friend of mine called and asked me to go to one with her next Saturday I have agreed to go and help her out and look forward to spending some time with her and hopefully finding this trade show of interest. One good thing about trade shows is that they are normally held inside, so the weather is never much of an issue and the show goes on rain or shine, hot or cold.

Trade shows are by far a great way to learn about different businesses and their services, products and opportunities. They have come a long way since the 90′s when they started coming around. With bigger and better logo products to get the word out, with a larger variety of various logo canopy items and logo mats that can be found for sale for today’s trade shows use and job fairs also. Job fairs are a big to-do these days with so many people looking for networking as well as employment. Both events are a great opportunities and I always walk out on their nice looking customized trade show carpet enlightened and curious about numerous issues that were discovered throughout the day and a bag full of logo laced freebies.
