Living close to New York City has so many benefits. I really enjoy all the events that are constantly and consistently being offered all year round there and the surrounding areas. And it’s so easy to get tickets these days with the Internet being the fastest, easiest and most reliable way to learn about the events. Everything you ever need to know about any of the events can be found online and then you can purchase the tickets online as well. All in one swift movement, nice and easy like.
My mother is talking about getting her hands on some Celtic woman tickets to take my sisters and I out for a “Ladies Night Out” soon. Sounds like a blast to me. Any time the four of us head out for the night you can count on some pretty funny stories coming out about it the next holiday get to together.
My mother has always been good about getting good tickets. When people come into town she immediately looks online to see what Madison Square Garden Tickets will be available during that time frame.  People love going to Madison Square and they always have top notch entertainment going on there. Of course Blue Cross Arena Tickets are always a good bet as well. Hockey fans can’t seem to get enough of that place.

One of our dogs went missing 2 days ago. We have spent the last couple of days searching the woods and the neighborhood, calling everyone that we have a phone number to in the neighborhood searching for our beloved adopted Squeakers.

Last night the phone rang and it was a lady that lives over 5 miles away, informing us that our dog was in her back yard looking very tired, hungry and thirsty. We hauled ass over there and found our Squeakers in pretty sad shape but safe and sound.

What nice people they turned out to be. They went the extra mile to find out who this dog belonged to and made the effort to contact us and take care of our dog until we arrived.

I have to tell you that after the 3rd grade I’m pretty useless as far as math goes. Thank God for calculators, I’d be lost with out mine, I can tell you that. I’ve always been the one to help the kids with there homework but sometimes it can be a bit over whelming and I just have to throw my hands up in the air and declare it an impossibility.

Now that the kids are getting older and are in middle and high school it has really turned ugly. I’m just no good with Statistics help with their Statistics problems that they seem to keep bringing home. Anything but math and we would be good to go.

I’ve been doing a bit of research online in finding a Statistics tutor that can step up to the plate and lend a hand, when needed. Tutorvista.com has a complete line of tutoring assistance from the earliest of grades all the way up to the college years. You can try them for free, to see what they are all about and then sign up for further assistance if warranted.  They offer an unlimited monthly package for a really decent and affordable price, worth checking into.

My niece has started writing poetry and has found a way to post it online. So I thought that I would provide the link to it here on my blog and see if she can get some hits on it. She has a visitor’s counter and she is anxious to see if anyone out there gives a rat’s ass or not………….

Check it out Here

Today is a good day. I spent the morning at H & R Block getting my 2009 taxes done and I’m glad to say that I’m getting a nice sized check in the mail in the next couple of weeks (or so they said) and now I’ve got to figure out the best way to treat that new found money. Of course there are a couple of credit cards that I need to pay off and then I should have a few bucks to play around with at my leisure.

My sister is trying to convenience me to take a long weekend and head for Myrtle Beach. Of course she wants to tag along with me during this adventure that sounds so nice right now. She has gone online and found a nice Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel that she thinks would be perfect for us to utilize and enjoy come the middle of summer, it’s called The Grande Shores Resort and seems to be one of the nicer Myrtle Beach Resort Hotels that we’ve seen so far. She has been sending me emails for the past couple of weeks about Myrtle Beach, with links to various places to stay at and visit while down there.

I’d really rather wait and see what her tax refund check looks like before I commit to anything at this point. I’d have a better idea of how much this is all going to cost me. In the mean time we will continue to Goggle “Resort in Myrtle Beach” and see what pops up and keep bookmarking interesting websites that we will go back to when the time comes.
