I don’t know why I enjoyed watching “Pregnant and 16″ which turned into Teen Mom 2 on MTV, but I do. Today they are having an all day marathon in preparation for the season finale this Tuesday night, which should be a good episode. Then the next week they will start all over again with a new group of 16 year olds that have found themselves 16 and pregnant which I’m sure I’ll be trying to catch every Tuesday evening at 10pm on MTV.

I’ve always imagined that the advertising business would be an awesome business to get into. All the different people that you would get to meet and all the places that it would take you to in the whole exciting and fast paced process. I remember watching the old TV show “Bewitched” were both of her Darrin husbands (remember there were two of them) worked for his boss Larry Tate at the McMann and Tate Advertising Agency in the beautiful, always sunny state of California. I always envied Samantha and always wished that I looked like her, had her powers, her life, her kids, her house, even her wacky relatives seemed appealing to a young girl like myself back in those days. The way that they were always chasing down accounts with some of the most interesting and entertaining people. And all the entertaining that they did at their house for the Advertising Agency , one that paid the bills nicely, it just fascinated me and I seriously thought that I would grow up in a marriage and lifestyle that they led, with or without the magic, but a girl could dream, right?
Now “I Dream of Jeanie” was another story. I liked that show as well, but it was much more unrealistic, for the most part, but still enjoyable. Of course Jeanie hooked up with an astronaut that didn’t want her to use her powers versus Samatha marrying a man who worked for a large well to do Advertising Agency, who didn’t want her to use her powers either. I never could understand that concept, I don’t think most people did, but both shows were hit shows for a good run. Once in a while I’ll stumble across a channel that is playing some of the reruns, if I have the time and in the right mood, they are good for a chuckle or two and they bring back some pretty cool childhood memories as well.

I think it is so much fun to watch the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on my satellite tv that I got after learning more about DirectTV HD DVR Prices information on the Bravo network. This show is truly one of the best that Bravo has to offer. It is a reality show that depicts the lives of housewives living in Beverly Hills. While the show may seem to be about the drama of these wives’ lives, which is surely is, a high emphasis is also placed on the fashion choices of these women.
It is so fascinating to see how much the women shop on this show! I always love seeing the types of stores that the Beverly Hills housewives shop at, as well as what kinds of clothes they choose to wear out. I think it is hilarious to see forty-year old women wearing four inch heels to do some everyday shopping or walking around the town. Yet, women do this every single day. These women are truly troopers for how seriously they take their fashion! I also find it inspiring to see older women still rocking a youthful appearance. These women have fun with fashion, which is one of the subtle messages they convey to other audiences. These women have a passion for fashion and they want to share it with others through this show. Overall, I love this show for the many fashion tips I get from it!

Her dad couldn’t get away from his job and she was running a pretty high fever for 2 days now and with tomorrow being Saturday, her doctor’s office isn’t open on the weekends, I didn’t want to chance her getting any worse and one of us having to take her to the E.R. My kid never gets sick Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Although they (the doctor’s office) have horrible office hours, they are wonderful in many other ways. I like that they are right next to the hospital and the other medical buildings and offices that we end up going to for various specialists and testings. When we end up needing a bit to eat, about the only people you see at the McDonald’s, in that part of town, are wearing medical uniforms and are employeed in the huge medical center or one of the surrounding buildings. It’s so nice to finally see that it is OK to wear something other than the same old plain white uniforms for healthcare providers that we all grew up around in our day. More and more of our medical professionals are sporting medical uniforms in various patterns and a nice and growing variety of colors, which I think is a wonderful idea, one that is well over due. I mean who would want to wear the same old thing, day after day, week after week, month after month and God forbid – year after year! An unthinkable concept.
Anyway, my daughterr will be fine in a few days. No anti biotics this time around, which is fine with me. Those horse pills are a pain to try and get her to swallow for 10 days in a row, what a pain. Besides being big in size, the price tag for those puppies aren’t cheap, I can tell you that.

I am always finding songs and videos that I really enjoy watching and listening to that I have long ago given up on ever finding on cassette or on a CD out there. I remember when this song came out my mother was humming along to the tune and I was blown away that my mother actually recognized a song that was popular with me and my friends and was playing on the radio. History does indeed repeat itself and the saying that everything old is new once again!
