I haven’t been ice skating in over a decade and was told that it was just like riding a bike, something that you just pick up again with ease, that is just plain B.S. I can tell you that. My back and behind are so tender and aching that it is funny and that will be the last time I attempt anything like that again, I should have listened to my “inner self” and gone with my gut feeling of staying at home at watching the professional ice skaters that are being televised right now.

They recently finished revamping this particular park a few months ago. They installed some really cool and exciting playground equipment for all the neighborhood kids to play on safely, instead of the old wooden crap that has been there for as long as I can remember. Can’t tell you how many kids have gotten hurt there and all of the splinters that send so many kids home crying. New Picnic Tables and Park Benches have been installed as well, which is a plus for the parents and other care takers that end up there for hours that deserved better sitting arrangements for a long time now.

I’m not too much into packing a picnic basket, or grilling, but I do think that we will stop at the KFC and pick up some of their famous fried chicken, mashed potatoes w/ gravy along with their delicious coleslaw. I need to remember to take the camera and I really hope nothing happens in the mean time to mess up our weekend plans for just the two of us on a great day during this short but sweet Indian Summer.

I can’t begin to describe just how much I love golf. I played when I was a student in college, and I play all the time with friends when I get the chance to. It’s the thing that I am most passionate about. I love to watch golf in high definition on direct tv when I’m not playing.

Anyone that has never seen a golf tournament in high definition has no idea what they are missing out on. I had some of my buddies over to watch, and they were all envious of my high definition resolution. A couple of them went right out and purchased a television with HD the same day. That’s just how amazing the resolution is.

It’s something about that green golf course in high definition that’s really impressive. Tiger Woods is my favorite golfer, and I’ve seen him play many times in HD. It’s a remarkable thing because you fee just like you are there. The course is so beautiful to watch.

It also looks great when they hit the ball. They show the sky view and you see the ball traveling through the beautiful sky and landing back down on the ground. It’s really a sight to see. I like to watch golf because it’s soothing. It’s a lengthy sport, but I don’t mind because it’s a fun sport.

I got the tickets and the concert was a blast, but I learned that I was better off letting some one else get the tickets for the future concerts and events that I ended up attending after that. I’m glad to hear that the process of purchasing tickets has gotten easier with the use of the Internet. But I’m still a bit gun shy about the whole deal. And it is really strange how they have changed the names of so many places that big events are held at. The names are so “big business” like that they just freak me out. For example, there is U.S. Cellualr Field, Quicken Loans Arena, TD Banknorth Garden, Time Warner Cable Arena, EnergySolutions Arena, and American Airlines Arena, and believe me there are a ton more out there that I didn’t name. I’m sorry these places just sound so impersonal and cold compared to places like Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium and of course there is good old Madison Square Garden. Times are a changing every where you look.

First off I want to find a workout bench, then I’ll look for a decent exercise floor mat to do my floor work on. I’d like to look into taking some yoga classes, I hear that they do wonders for the body, heart and soul, sounds good to me. I’d like to find a class that is for females only. It would be a turn off to be surrounded by a bunch of gawking men, ya know?

There is a ton of equipment out there that I’ll be eyeballing the next couple of months. An exercise ball would be cool and then there are wrist and ankle weights and the list goes on and on. I’ll be stopping by at yard sales a bit more often in order to find some of the needed equipment. It has been too hot this summer to be doing much yard sales, but now I’m on a mission, so it’s all good!

I’m sure the Internet is full of information on Myrtle Beach Accommodations. North Myrtle Beach used to be our favorite part, but who knows what it is like these days. Maybe I’ll take some time out soon and check out the Myrtle Beach Accommodation situation. Who knows maybe I’ll get a super tax refund this year and I’ll be able to do some things that I’ve been wanting to do. Some golfing while I’m there would be great and I’m worth it!
