I’ve never really been much of a baseball fan. Football is more my style. But when I saw this on You Tube it really made an impression on me, so much that of course I had to post it here. God I love You Tube. Hope you enjoy it as well!

It seems that a good amount of people are using their tax returns to purchase new cars and taking advantage of the stimulus package that has been extended. My sister and her husband are buying a chevy Volt. My cousin is looking seriously at a nice for fusion hybrid, which I think is pretty darn cool. They have always been Ford people and I don’t think they will ever change in that area. We are creatures of habit.
At work people are using their down time and going online looking at various new cars. The gal that sits next to me is going crazy over the new nissan rogue, I expect to be hearing soon if her husband will approve and to see her driving into the employee parking lot with her brand new car at any time.
Myself, I’d be checking into the hyundai genesis. Check this one out that I found online earlier. Man, wouldn’t I look good behind the wheel of this pretty piece of 2010 metal! A girl can dream can’t she?

I remember the first time I heard of Mesothelioma Cancer. I was working as a cashier at a department store and one of my co workers was telling me about her uncle who had just been diagnosed with Mesothelioma. He had contacted it during his time he spent serving his country with the Navy on a submarine.
It was right about that time that I started seeing commercials for a local attorney who has been advertising his services for people that have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma Cancer. It was a ten dollar word that I had no idea of it’s meaning, until my discussion with my co worker. Since then I have been hearing more and more about Mesothelioma and I’m glad that people are becoming aware of this particular type of cancer. I’ve run across a web site about Surviving Mesothelioma, that offers a free book that is a patient’s guide and available by signing up at Survivingmesothelioma.com.
It is my intention to help pass this information along in my blog to anyone who may need this type of information or know of someone in need. It’s all good.

This is a wonderful video that my best friend sent me today. She always comes up with some pretty cool jokes and videos. I never seem to have enough time to find these types of things, so I’m glad that she keeps them coming and coming and coming……
No Comments »I just got this email from my friend in South Carolina. I’m assuming that this is a true announcement, but one never knows these days. Guess I’ll wait to hear more about them, possibly on the evening news.
New Michelin Tires… Absolutely SCARY looking…
Look for ‘em in August. These tires are made in Greenville, South Carolina , USA …
SEE THROUGH TIRES
Radical new tire design by Michelin. The next generation of tires. They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show.

Yes, those are ’spoke’ like connections to the inner part of the tire from the outside tread ‘wrap!’ The next picture shows how odd it looks in motion…

Makes you wonder how the ride feels doesn’t it?

These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these.
Just think of the impact on existing technology:
A. no more air valves…
B. no more air compressors at gas stations…
C. no more repair kits…
D. no more flats…
These are actual pictures taken at the South Carolina plant of Michelin.
