Have you guys noticed how much better VH1 has gotten in the last few years? I didn’t have it for a while because cable got so expensive but got it back this year after going to www.direc4u.com and looking into satellite packages. The good news is, that channel totally rocks now! I spent some time watching it the other day and there’s a show called Single Ladies which is new and takes place in Atlanta, where I’m from. There’s also a lot of great reality tv gems on there like Basketball Wives that I love getting lost in after a long day at the office. I can’t believe people make fun of VH1 like it’s some old person’s channel – I think it’s just the kind of stuff I love watching! I’m not huge into TV anyway but if every station was like this one, I think I’d make a lot more time for sitting down in front of the boob tube. At least it hasn’t gone the way of MTV and gotten totally out of control!

I’ve often thought about changing my career path. Furthering one’s education is a big thing these days, but I’m not so sure that I’m up to that task right now. I know that most classes can be done online these days, which is a great alternative to actually attending a formal class room and all, but it still takes time and concentration, two things that I’m seriously lacking these past few years. If I did take some classes I would like to entertain the thought of going in medical billing.

There is a need for folks to do this type of work and many companies that offer complete medical billing for physicians and health care providers as well as testing facilities. They all rely on outside sources for their accounts receivable management, collections, complete medical billing services and I’d like to get in on all of that action. There will always be a need for medical attention, it is a pretty safe bet to be in the medical profession one way or another.

I have a friend who has been in this medical billing field for several years and is happy with the position and the pay. She is now trying to get certified in order to move up the ladder, so there are ways to advance in this ever growing field.

This is just the beginning of a new online adventure that I have been wanting to dive into for some time and I look forward to speaking my mind and hearing comments from others to contemplate and ponder.
