With the arrival of spring I’m getting anxious to get on the back of a Harley Davidson. I have several friends that have some really nice scooters and are usually willing to take me out for a putt when I feel the need. This is perfect leather weather, so I guess I need to get on the phone, make some calls and see if I can get some riding in soon.
Haven’t been to a trade show in many, many years. I used to try and attend several of them a year but I just haven’t had the opportunity as of late. A few days back a good lady friend of mine called and asked me to go to one with her next Saturday I have agreed to go and help her out and look forward to spending some time with her and hopefully finding this trade show of interest.
One good thing about trade shows is that they are normally held inside, so the weather is never much of an issue and the show goes on rain or shine, hot or cold. Trade shows are by far a great way to learn about different businesses and their services, products and opportunities. They have come a long way since the 90’s when they started coming around.
This Infographic is brought to us by mossanite dot com by Charles & Colvard which is a great website that I had heard mention of on Facebook a while back that I finally got a chance to check out today. Since it is so cold out today, the weatherman was wrong once again, he promised us a great weather weekend that turned out to only last half of the weekend. I got a few things done yesterday and figured I could finish them up today only to get up and venture outside to find that it looked like it wanted to snow. If it had been a few more degrees colder I swear we would be dealing with a good couple of inches of our first snow of the season.
At least none of the stuff outside will suffer until the next half way nice day comes back around and it looks a lot nice out there since I put in so much effort into the whole process yesterday. So as I was saying I spent the whole day inside, most of it on my laptop. Got caught up on my bills, cleaned up my Yahoo email in box, checked on a few people on Facebook, but I really don’t go on Facebook much anymore. Maybe after Christmas I’ll get back into the habit of going on there at least once a day, but for now I’m just taking a Facebook break and concentrating on things around here that need my attention. Can you believe that Christmas is now only 19 days away!
P.S. Enjoy the Infographic, I learned quite a bit about weddings that I thought was pretty amazing. I’m finding more and more of these Infographics lately online and enjoy sharing the ones that strike me as being interesting and fun enough to forth the effort of putting on here although it isn’t all that hard, guess I’m just being lazy lately.
Now knowing that they make a cover for amplifiers that protect the amp from adverse weather was good information to know considering that my kid brother’s 21st birthday is coming up in late July. I think that this will be the perfect gift idea for him. It was really difficult finding the perfect Christmas gift for him last year, so this makes me feel better to know that I can get him a cool QSC k10 outdoor cover made of nylon fabric and mesh cover for temporary outdoor use for just under $50.
Giving someone a gift that you know that they will enjoy and use can make a big difference in a gift giving relationship. I know that I am sick and tired of getting baskets full of personal care products like bubble bath, oils, lotions, perfumes, spray and other stuff like that. I swear if I get another gift like that I will have a very hard time keeping my mouth shut. I don’t even like re-gifting that kind of stuff. A gift card would be a much better option, don’t you agree?
Checked my email late last night. I was worried that we were going to lose power again with all the seriously extreme weather that we have been blasted with for so long. I made sure that I got all of my prescriptions filled, got a full tank of gas, milk, toilet paper and charged my cell phone, just in case.
I was tickled to hear that the Ableton Software Controller that I had ordered for my brother-in-law’s birthday yesterday, arrived in the mail, and his is thrilled with the gift. You never know when you order something online if it will arrive in time. Usually it does but once in a while something happens, which throws me into a panic. I have learned to order things in more of a timely fashion, just in case.
