It seems that when I get the yogadirect yoga ball that I ordered last week online, I will have just about everything that I think that I need to start taking the yoga classes that I have been seriously eyeballing for some time now. The new Wellness Center in town has become the place to go for so many health and fitness needs and I don’t want to be left out. I all ready do yoga each morning before heading out the door. But I am seriously limited with time and space, so I need to get some type of routine going on, as well as learn some new things, instead of doing the same ol’ same ol’ all the time.

I know that you can get all kinds of yoga information on DVDs as well as online. But I think I would enjoy a class along with other people instead of always in my tiny little living room. The carpet needs to be cleaned and I just keep putting that task off due to other issues needing tending to since Spring is finally here and in full swing. So much to do inside and out, this time of the year.

Today has been a good day. I finally got my tax refund direct deposited into my checking account and I am armed and dangerous with this new found money. Of course I am going to be careful and make every single penny count, and I plan on paying off a couple of my credit cards right off. But there are a few projects that I’ve been wanting to start and now is a good time to get started.

I have been eyeballing some really wonderful Wallcovering online that I really want to use in my attempt to redo the dining room. I want my dining area to have a classier look than it currently does. Not that we use it all that often. Usually you can’t find the dinning room table from all the clothes, paperwork and junk that it is used for by everyone in the house. But there are times that we do use it and I’d really like to make a few changes and spring time is a time for all kinds of new and exciting things inside and out. Although I probably won’t get started until the summer time heat that is quickly approaching, but I’ll be inside nice and cool working in the a/c.

I can smell it in the air. We are all ready experiencing the April showers that we need for the May flowers and it isn’t even April yet. But that is OK, anything is better than snow at this point. We are expected to get into the 70′s later this week, I’m all for that!

I’m itching to get my hands into the earth and start my gardens and really get into some heavy duty yard work. I enjoy working outside as long as isn’t it freezing outside. I have got some nice Decorative Planters that I want to get going soon that I found online a few months ago. The house that I grew up in had the nicest Window Box Planters in the neighborhood and I have wanted to start my own for a long time, so I’m excited about getting them all going and looking good for the up and coming season.

My mother was always so proud of her handy work outside of the house. I know that she will be proud to see that I’m taking the time to try and get my own house and yard in order. She gave me a very nice High End Planter for Christmas that I plan on placing on the front porch. I just haven’t decided which type of flower(s) that I want to plant there. I still have a little bit of time before having to make a decision. Maybe I’ll ask my mother for her opinion, she likes it when I do that!

I love going to the flea markets that will be in full swing next month if by then the weather has finally made it possible for people to set up outside. I always enjoy getting outside, getting some fresh air, and the exercise is certainly welcomed as well. I find the vendors are very nice and are usually willing to give good bargains if you approach them with a kind word and don’t insult their intelligence and integrity. I can never figure out how some people will come up to them and ask if they will take such a small amount and expect them to just smile and take it. If someone is asking $20 for an item, to ask if they will take $5 for it is an insult. I see it time and time again and it just blows me away when they get upset when denied their request!

Anyway, I have had my eyes on one dealer that sells rugs, mainly area rugs. He has been setting up there for years and I have spent a good amount of time looking at his assortment of rugs and talking with him, he is a very nice man and I always look forward to seeing and talking with him when I have a Saturday to spend at the flea market.  Last Saturday, since it was so nice outside, I went to the flea market and noticed that he wasn’t there. I was told that he had experienced bad health lately and was in the hospital. I couldn’t get a lot of details but it apparently has something to do with his heart. I asked the vendor that sets up next to him to relay a message to him that I had stopped by and inquired about him. And asked that he be told that I wish him the best of luck and a speedy recovery.

Went treasure hunting today with my sister. We went a few towns over and found some thrift stores that we had never been in before and decided to check them out together. Shopping is so much more fun with a friend or a sister. I’m glad that we went, we each found a few pieces that we couldn’t live without for only a few dollars, mainly jewelry and things for the kitchen, but it’s all good!

When we got back to her place we spent some time on her computer sharing some websites that we have found and wanted to talk about as well as a few funny pictures as well as some pretty entertaining videos on YouTube.com that kept us laughing and in a light hearted mood. I took this opportunity to show her  rockymountaintrail.com for patagonia mens jackets that I was thinking she might want to see and possibly order for her hubby’s birthday that is coming up in March. It will still be cold in March so he would still get some use out of it until next falls comes back around. He is hard to buy for (most men are though I have to admit) and a few of these jackets really stood out that I think would look real nice on him and that he might actually enjoy wearing.
