Being as I don’t own one of the really large TV screens, when I turned on the TV the other day to see the score and the time remaining of this year’s Super Bowl, I couldn’t read what the score was or what quarter the game was in. Thank goodness I just left the set on while I went in the kitchen to put some dishes away. When I came back into my room I found out that it was half time and I was just in time to watch Bruno Mars singing. Shortly after he was done performing it was time for the commercials.

Each year the commercials during the Super Bowl half time celebration are supossed to be a huge attraction. But this year I didn’t see anything worth bragging about and to tell you the truth I wasn’t all that amazed at Bruno Mar’s performance all thought the announcers were full of praise. I don’t know if I’m getting older and harder to amaze and/or entertain or what the deal is now.

How depressing, now there won’t be anything fun to talk about tomorrow at work when everyone will be talking about the Super Bowl, except maybe how it was the first Super Bowl to be held outside and that it was cold and rainy. My opinion, they get paid well enough to just ignore a bit of rain and they should be working so hard that the cold shouldn’t bother them, I mean it was even below freezing.

Anyone who knows anything about the game of golf and lives near or on the east coast knows that there are many Myrtle Beach Resorts that have some awesome golf packages to offer. I prefer the North Myrtle Beach area and have been going there for as long as I can remember. My whole family is into golfing and it is a sport that anyone can play along with being a great way for a family to spend good times together doing. Now that the winter weather is going to be breaking I’m itching to get out on the greens and I hope that I can squeeze a game into this weekend’s plans.

My folks have indicated that they would like to be able to have as many of the family, that can manage it, to take a long weekend some time this summer at one of the Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resorts and get some golfing in together. I’m sure that we could go online and find some good deals with plenty advance notice. I just Googled “Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort” and came up with nice ideas and options that I’d like to discuss over this Sunday’s Super Bowl’s game and family dinner.

With most of us getting some money back from our taxes I would think many of us should be able to pull it off.  It sounds like a wonderful idea that I hope we can put together. The Avista Resort is one of the Myrtle Beach Resort links that popped up that has gotten my vote so far. And it’s in the North part of Myrtle Beach, now how about that!

I can’t begin to describe just how much I love golf. I played when I was a student in college, and I play all the time with friends when I get the chance to. It’s the thing that I am most passionate about. I love to watch golf in high definition on direct tv when I’m not playing.

Anyone that has never seen a golf tournament in high definition has no idea what they are missing out on. I had some of my buddies over to watch, and they were all envious of my high definition resolution. A couple of them went right out and purchased a television with HD the same day. That’s just how amazing the resolution is.

It’s something about that green golf course in high definition that’s really impressive. Tiger Woods is my favorite golfer, and I’ve seen him play many times in HD. It’s a remarkable thing because you fee just like you are there. The course is so beautiful to watch.

It also looks great when they hit the ball. They show the sky view and you see the ball traveling through the beautiful sky and landing back down on the ground. It’s really a sight to see. I like to watch golf because it’s soothing. It’s a lengthy sport, but I don’t mind because it’s a fun sport.

My folks have asked me to look into some of the Myrtle Beach Golf Packages online. My whole family is into the sport of golfing, something that we all have in common and have fun doing together. Myrtle Beach Golf is well known and something that we have always wanted to check into doing as a family. My folks are expecting a nice tax refund next year and really want to take the whole family on one of the Myrtle Beach Golf Vacations that they have heard so much about from other folks.

Myrtle Beach has so much to offer, with golf just one of the attractions that have people flocking there all year around. Not only are the beaches top notch, but the nightlife is fantastic, the hotels and resorts are awesome and has many other attractions close by, such as Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, Myrtle Beach State Park, Medieval Times, Atalaya Castle and Brookgreen Gardens just to name a few off the top of my head. I’m sure that we would find all kinds of fun things to do and would have a blast, fun times for all!

So I have plenty of time to look around and get a good feel for Golf Myrtle Beach style, since we will have to wait for their accountant to get all the paper work submitted to the IRS. And then of course they will have to wait for Uncle Sam to issue their refund check, which will most likely be sometime in June. This will make for great and exciting conversation throughout the holidays for the family when we get together later this month. I’m sure everyone will have their own ideas and suggestions to take in consideration. Thank goodness for the Internet, which will make the task a whole lot easier for me to deal with.

I can’t believe that I let my friends talk me into going ice skating last night, what was I thinking. I can tell you what I’m thinking right now, ouch!!

I haven’t been ice skating in over a decade and was told that it was just like riding a bike, something that you just pick up again with ease, that is just plain B.S. I can tell you that. My back and behind are so tender and aching that it is funny and that will be the last time I attempt anything like that again, I should have listened to my “inner self” and gone with my gut feeling of staying at home at watching the professional ice skaters that are being televised right now.
